I am Louison, originally from Belgium, graduated in fashion design and modeling in Liège with a specialization in lingerie acquired in Milan.

My academic background and experience in Milan have allowed me to master the complex art of lingerie, exploring traditional techniques while staying on top of the latest trends and innovations.

For me, lingerie is a world where refinement, sensuality and audacity come together. That's why I dream of one day seeing my own lingerie brand take flight. My greatest desire is to create collections that inspire confidence and emancipation, and to allow everyone to feel beautiful and powerful in their own skin.

"alalu" is much more than just a word; it carries a deep and personal meaning as a tribute to my grandfather. As a child, when it was time to say goodbye, I would say "alalu" instead of saying "hi". This word, which has become a ritual between my grandfather Pierrot and myself, represents not only our complicity, but also the timeless love that continues to unite us, even beyond his physical presence.

The typography of the logo is a tribute to my godfather. Being quadriplegic, he used a typewriter to write. I took each letter and each character from this machine to make a font that I then used for my logo. This typography is therefore much more than just a writing style for me.

As a Belgian designer, I have made it a point of honour to ensure that every step of our manufacturing process is environmentally friendly.

The fabrics used are OEKO-TEX certified or recycled, which means that they are not only of high quality, but also respectful of our planet. My commitment to eco-responsibility is also reflected in the packaging, which is made from recycled and/or recyclable materials.

I am particularly proud to point out that all suppliers are based in Europe. Favoring European partners helps reduce the carbon footprint and support the economy of our continent.

Each piece of "alalu" lingerie is handmade by myself, in Belgium. This artisanal approach guarantees not only the quality of each product, but also the care and love I put into each seam.

The sizes are named differently, also in order to break the codes of standard fast-fashion sizes. My goal is to offer a unique and personalized experience, far from conventional labels. Each size has its own name, reflecting our commitment to individuality and self-acceptance.
